Our Philosophy
At Lilburn School of Ballet, we believe early dance education should be as imaginative as it is disciplined. Our Early Enrollment Division is specifically tailored to young beginners, focusing on developing motor skills, coordination, and a joyful appreciation for classical music and movement. Through structured play and foundational technique, we nurture the self-confidence and creative spirit of every budding dancer. All dancers will have the opportunity to perform in the annual recital in addition to other performing opportunities with Northeast Atlanta Ballet.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the target age for the Early Enrollment Division?
Our Early Enrollment programs are designed specifically for young beginners aged 3 to 6. These classes focus on developing coordination, musicality, and a love for movement in an encouraging environment.
Can my child try a class before enrolling?
Yes, we highly encourage a trial class! It's a wonderful way for your child to experience the magic of ballet and for parents to observe our teaching style and facility. Contact our admissions team to schedule your visit.
What is the dress code for young beginners?
Students typically wear a pink leotard, pink tights, and leather ballet slippers. Hair should be neatly pulled back from the face. Detailed brand and style requirements will be provided upon enrollment.
How long is each ballet class?
Class durations vary by level but generally range from 45 minutes to one hour per week for the Early Enrollment Division. This allows us to keep young students engaged while building focus and stamina.
What happens if my child misses a class?
We offer make-up class options within the same semester. Please notify the office as soon as possible if your child will be absent, and we will help you find a suitable alternative class time.
